Grapes: blend of various native grapes falling within the IGT Benevento specification
Production area: lands falling within the production area of the Benevento protected geographical indication
Exposure and altitude: hilly terrain with 200 to 450 meters above sea level exposed to the south-east and north-east
Soil type: medium textured soils, mainly clayey and calcareous
Training system: vines trained in rows with Guyot pruning
Planting density: 2000/3500 vines per hectare
Harvest time: first half of September, grapes hand-picked in small containers
Winemaking technique: the grapes, harvested manually, are loaded whole into a special tank, here they will undergo maceration in a protected atmosphere of carbon dioxide Endogenous. Once the maceration phase is complete, the grapes are pressed, destemmed, and fermented at a controlled temperature.
Tasting Notes: The color is an intense ruby red with purple highlights. The intense aroma, typical of carbonic maceration, releases notes of blackberries, blueberries, and wild strawberries. On the palate, it is soft and velvety, yet with a fresh finish.
